Our Team: Jim Demchak

James P. Demchak is a career veteran in the field of human resources management. In private industry, he was Director of Human Resources Development for Ryder System, Inc., Director of Human Resources for Florafax International, Inc. and held various human resource management positions with Xerox Corporation. Since 1982, when he founded the original Sandhurst Associates, Jim has led the organization through two acquisitions with major international search firms before redefining and partnering with Sandhurst Group.

Jim has provided valuable consulting services spanning numerous industry sectors and many executive disciplines. Functionally, he has conducted senior level search assignments in the areas of finance, human resources, information technology, law, marketing and general management. Industry sector experiences include financial services, consumer products, telecommunications, retail systems, hospitality, manufacturing and transportation and logistics.

Jim attended graduate school at Wayne State University and San Diego State University and earned his bachelor’s degree from Wayne State University. Today he serves as the senior member of the Denver office and is active in the Denver Metropolitan community as a Senior Partner and Advisory Board member for Douglas County Partners an organization that deals with at- risk youth.
